I spent 4 nights at the Terry House while visiting family in Newcastle and Clayton.It was amazing and the room and the property surrounding it was perfect. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole process of booking and checking in was so easy. I hope to return in November. Thank you!

This place is amazing. The inn and it's surroundings were wonderful. The check in process was flawless. My room was so comfortable, spacious and quiet. I definitely hope to return in November. I live near Boston and my family is in the area so it is perfect.

Beautiful property .
The rooms are gorgeous! We stay always on the top floor in the peacock room. It’s is truly beautiful. The outside of the property is beautifully landscaped. Perfect for relaxing outside and watching fireworks during new castle celebrations. This was our second time visiting and we will be back!! Hosts are charming and very responsible!

Historic wonderland on the river.
My wife and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary visiting this charming beautiful home in New Castle. Simply amazing how close to our home experience from where we grew up in Alexandria, VA The house is stunning. The yard is graced with exquisite gardens and the host was top notch and very supportive. If traveling through the region I would highly recommend checking this house, The Terry House, out

Beautiful Inn, historical
We loved the historical decor on the main floor. The staircase and our room #5 Where the Wild Things Are. I read the history of the Inn left on the desk to read and places to see. Restaurants as well. I'd go back again soon.
